• 1.0 out of 5 stars from farington -- Badly done scan-and-print-to-order book : This book is a print-to-order job, apparently of a Kindle book. The typeface of the text is ridiculous. Each line of the play has the name of the speaking character set in something like 16pt boldface, while the lines that they're speaking are set in something like 8pt, i.e. small footnote-sized typeface. I don't know if the Kindle version is like this or if it's the fault of the outfit in Texas that printed this thing, but it's not the first lousy print-to-order book Amazon has done. • 5.0 out of 5 stars from Anne Marie -- High praise for the format, though the play is not my favorite. : How great it is to download a play to Kindle, then have the text handy for the long flight to France! As preparation for a performance at the Comédie Française did just that, and the text was free besides. Advantageous to read a play beforehand so as to enjoy fully the action onstage and indeed to anticipate its important points. Le portrait de cet arriviste sans culture, sans foi ni loi, suivant son bon plaisir qu'il place au rang de souverain, convient à beaucoup de managers : psittacisme dans la transmission d'ordres sans fondement, hors du sol, au mépris de l'Autre qui n'existe que pour l'utilité du servir. La guerre ? Faisons-la puisque le (concurrent) tsar s'apprête à nous la faire : allons-y ! après avoir tué la noblesse, pillé la nation et révérer le maîtres des phynances.
